Maladaja Hramada

> Digital and organising infrastructure for a Belarusian youth democratic movement — built from inside the organisation, not delivered to it from outside.

Maladaja Hramada is a youth democratic movement. The work here is different from a client engagement in one important way: it was done from inside the organisation, with the same person responsible for what the tooling had to achieve politically and for whether it worked technically.

What the work involved

  • Public web presence and the publishing workflow behind it.
  • Membership and organising infrastructure — the unglamorous side of turning interest into people who show up.
  • Communication channels and the automation around them, on tooling the movement controls rather than tooling that controls the movement.

Why it matters here

Most vendors in this sector have never had to run the thing they are building for. This work is the reason Praxis briefs do not need translating from organiser into engineer first: the failure modes — a membership list nobody trusts, a form that loses people, a channel that depends on one person’s laptop — are familiar from the other side of the table.

A fuller, publishable case study with named outcomes is in preparation. Until it exists, this page describes the work rather than claiming results for it.

Similar problem, different organisation?

Most of this work generalises. If something here looks like what you are dealing with, that is a good opening line for an email.
